About Me

I've loved to paint for as long as I can remember. There's something about color — the way a single shift in hue can completely change how a piece feels — that I've been chasing since I was a kid with a paintbrush.

That fascination led me to Pratt Institute, where I graduated in 2014 with a degree in Illustration and Graphic Design. For over a decade, I worked as a graphic designer, all while keeping my personal painting practice alive alongside it — nights, weekends, whenever I could carve out the time.

Today, painting is my full-time work. I create abstract watercolor pieces from my studio in Tennessee, built around soft color washes, layered geometry, and an ongoing curiosity about how color shapes emotion.

Improvisation and play are at the heart of how I work. I've been doing comedy improv for years, and that same spirit of saying yes, staying loose, and trusting the moment shows up on the canvas — I rarely know exactly where a piece is headed when I start. I also run a class called Embodied Creativity, where I bring that same philosophy to helping others reconnect with their own creative instincts.

Painting helps me remember who I am. I hope you feel something in the color, too.
